This cleansing oil is amazing. I have tried MANY MANY different cleaning products and nothing has really made me feel the way this cleansing oil has. I used to use the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, which was nice, but when I used this product, my face became soft like never before. I am extremely lazy and never used makeup remover, and now, I feel great knowing that my makeup is being removed AS I cleanse my face. That's awesome! My daughter, who has eczema, also uses this product and nothing has worked like this. Her face is hydrated and smooth afterwards, without any stinging, and she is able to apply her moisturizer afterwards. This is an awesome oil and I can't recommend it ENOUGH! Wish the large size were a bit less expensive, though.

cleanses well. keeps skin soft and smooth when you wash your face. however, it breaks me out terribly. I got a sample (the blue bottle - brightening one). I liked it quite a bit so I purchased a full sized bottle. I realized afterwards that it was this product that was breaking me out all over my face. I stopped using it. Over the past year, I have occasionally used it to see if it still breaks me out and yes, it still does. I still have a huge bottle of unused oil now and given how expensive it is... it is quite sad to see the product/money go to waste. I have dry skin by the way, and it can get very dry sometimes.

Love this product, got it first as a sample and got hooked. I am 67! I went to the Dr. today, and his nurse was shocked, and said, "oh my gosh, I thought you were in your 40's! Keep doing what you are doing." This product has changed my skin to something beautiful.

I worked as a cosmetics executive so I am extremely picky. So when I traveled to Tokyo it was my mecca. I jumped into Shu Uemura because, besides eyelash bars, we don't have it in the states anymore (at least none that I'm aware of) so I was excited to get some stuff. This was recommended to me by one of the sales girls because I was going to get the basic oil and she promised me I wouldn't be sorry if I upgraded. Wow, she was right and then some! After a week, my skin was in a healthy state like I have never seen it. Even, soft, smooth, and visibly glowing. I'm 31 and I hit that 30 year old dull skin zone and this brought it back to life. I am now looking into the skincare since obviously my skin clicks with Shu. So happy! Take the plunge and get this.

This product was recommended when I visited Shu Uemura store in Tokyo. The make-up artist said it was the best he had ever seen, and he was right! I still prefer removing waterproof mascara with a separate eye makeup remover, but the cleansing oil is extremely effective in removing makeup. It washes off easily with water and my skin feels very soft and moisturized afterwards. It also works as a facial massage oil while cleansing the face at the same time. The large bottle is a bit pricey but it last for months. It is worth it.
