Although they clean, they strip my face of any natural moisture, which contributes to my dryness. This one is different. It's a silky smooth oil that makes my skin feel very moisturized and supple. It feels clean and fresh, but not tight. The Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil is definitely a product I'm keeping in my rotation!

I have never been a fan of oil cleansers, mainly because of the idea that I have of them. I always assumed that they would be oily and cause me to break out. But that is not the case I have learned. So the pros for me: I like how smooth it is. Very light weight. It's not oily. Absorbs quickly into skin. My skin feels super soft. The cons: Does not lather up. Not sure if I am getting my skin cleansed. I know it's not supposed to lather, but that for me is a good clue that it's working. But overall, I'm happy that I now know that cleansing oils do not leave your skin feeling oily!

I initially loved this product! But I have sensitive skin.. I was able to use this sample for 2 nights. The first night my skin felt amazing! Soft, Smooth, and just wonderful! The second night, my face was starting to burn a bit. I rinsed it off but in the morning my cheeks were red and inflamed. It went away the next day without any worries. This product is amazing and I truly recommend for non sensitive skin. Day 1 I felt like I was getting a facial and the smell was so relaxing!!
