Thank you to Butterfly and Shu Uemura for the free sample of the Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil. The texture of this cleansing oil is light with a very pleasant fragrance. It removed all makeup and impurities from my skin, leaving it moisturized and feeling soft and smooth. I'm amazed at how my skin feels after just 1 use. Glorious! The Ultime8 complex is a combination of 8 carefully sought out oils from Chinese medicine and beauty oils worldwide, selecting only the best oils with the most efficacy. I was lost in luxury when using the Ultime8. I love it and will be purchasing a full sized bottle.

The sample was very tiny! But the small bit I did get was very nourishing, I washed my face and then put on this oil. I didn't break out which is a huge plus! Very happy

I got this complimentary to give my honest review. I've used shu uemura's other cleansing oil and have always loved it. I was excited to try this one. Personally for me it kinda is the same to their other oils. But it could also be because it was only a sample size and you can only try it once, so it's hard to really give it the best review possible. It does removes my light makeup well, even my mascara. My skin feels clean. Not sure how it would do with a full face of makeup and waterproof mascara.

Im almost ashamed to admit that I had never tried double cleansing until I received a complimentary sample of Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil. I have dry skin and I worried that cleansing twice would make it drier. Instead, using this cleansing oil followed by my usual foaming cleanser has left my skin cleaner and more hydrated. The oil is surprisingly light in color almost clear. It has barely any scent aside from a slight botanical freshness. It emulsifies with water to create a slight milkiness. It does leave my face and hands feeling a little bit oily, but following up with my foam cleanser takes care of that sensation without sacrificing the hydrating benefits. I can even feel the foam gliding on more smoothly after applying the cleansing oil, too!
