I have just been trying ultimate8 sublime oil - simply because I couldn't reorder the blue - white efficient - oil - in the large bottle at the recent sale. This is wonderful - that is wonderful. For me, I happen to like the other a bit more. My skin is getting up there - I'm 68 - but I still have some remnants of blemish problems and my skin is still not all that dry - the T zone still exists - and I like how the "blue" version freshens the skin. But this is superb. I never thought I would be "wasting" so much money on a cleansing agent -- but these oils are the first cleansers I ever tried which really do leave the skin better. Clean, but not stripped bare of all moisture. And the amount needed to cleanse the faces is small.

Why haven't I been using this sooner?!?! It literally wipes away every trace of makeup (even waterproof mascara) and leaves your skin feeling soft, matte and squeaky clean but not dry. It has a light fragrance and you don't need to rub hard to get eye makeup off (I have also used the whitening cleansing oil and this is far superior). I use two pumps every day and one bottle has lasted me almost a year. Love it!

I've been using the Shu Uemura cleansing oils for several years now, and they all do a good job, but this is truly worth the extra money. This is the only face cleaner I'll buy, and I've tried every pricey thing on the market.

I've been in the cosmetics industry for eight years and have tried so many cleansers in the past years. I rated this cleanser as my #1 cleanser because it is that amazing! I've always have dry and sensitive skin. My skin is easily break out and super skeptical. I've used this cleanser for two months now and my skin has not break out at all. I loved the fragrance and the texture of the product. It leaves my skin super soft and smooth after washing my face. This cleanser is super high quality and I think it is totally worth the money because it beat all the cleansers I've tried years before. I have not finish my first bottle, but since Shu Uemara is having a promotion, I am going to purchase the 450 ml. Super excited!!! Highly recommend for anyone to try.

I had come across the cleansing oil when it first launched but I was so skeptical given my tendency to breakouts and mileas. And I had always used a separate eye makeup remover but never really found one that would remove stubborn mascara or liner (especially under the eyes). Fast forward to my recent trip to Asia when my mother recommended the cleansing oil. She said it cleanses her face and does not give her any breakouts, etc. So I gave it a go and OMG! was I amazed! I now use the sublime cleansing oil to remove makeup - I use about one and one-half pumps and gently massage it over my face and neck, and using my ring fingers I gently massage my eyes paying attention to my lashes. A rinse with warm water and all make up is gone. I do use a sponge (it helps with under eyes). I do follow-up with another cleanse, i.e. a 2 part cleanse routine using my creamy cleanser (optional or you can use the oil again if you want). I do avoid my eyes when using the creamy cleanser. There are other cleansing oils out there but I find this to be the best value (a bottle has lasted me well over half a year and still going). It does its job and I've not gotten any skin troubles from it.
